LeClerc Celebration Mini Cookies

I have to stick to bags of mini cookies. I don’t have the will power to only eat 1-2 regular sized cookies out of a pack. The open package just calls my name. I picked up these LeClerc Celebration Mini cookies at Dollarama. You get 7 packages of cookies for $2. So a snack a day! 110 calories for 7 chocolate covered butter cookies. Unlike many 100ish calorie packs, these actually taste similar to the original LeClerc Celebration cookies.

There are certainly lower calorie options for cookies, but many don’t hit that craving as well as Leclerc Celebration Minis. I try to keep my snack options under 100 calories. But the extra 10 calories are well worth satisfying the cookie and chocolate cravings.

Sure, not the healthiest but what chocolate cookies are? They do they trick at a cookie craving though. Many calorie limited packs don’t have as much chocolate, or have different cookies to the originals. These are simply smaller versions. The cookie actually seems around the same thickness just a different shape. I can keep these on my desk and have one every so often as they are actually quite satisfying. They only come in milk chocolate while the original cookies have different options.

They are also affordable at $2 per box of 7 pouches. So many low calorie options are really expensive for the amount of cookies you get. The little packages make them easy to throw in your bag to avoid buying a snack out too. My boyfriend even steals packs of these out of my snack drawer for his lunch which tells me that it is not just rose tinted glasses thinking they are good because there is chocolate.
